Morning although it could still be night-time.
Sometimes we’re all challenged with doing things that we don’t want to do but have to, and getting on the first train into London on a Friday for another end of year conference I thought that was a thing of the past but Hey-Ho we’re off armed with bacon roll and coffee and away, just hope I can survive till coming home time.

Amazingly as the closing date draws in I have received no blogs for the Mike Moss trophy and no photographs for the photo competition disappointingly. But there is still time for budding enthusiasts to get them in.
The Mermaids will be having a dip on Christmas day 10.30am should anyone feel the urge and want a break from Sindy and the Scalextric. I’ve decided I will give it a pass.
Still awaiting delivery of 2024 tide tables and HH charts so any stocking filler ideas will go out of the window. but could be here soon.
The LH cooker in the parlour is caput and needs a new element. Darren’s on the case and will be hopefully sorted by next week should anyone be wanting to use it.? Just making you aware.
The ponding on the entrance to the west compound due to the excessive rain is a bit of a nuisance, we will be looking at trying to identify a suitable drainage solution to disperse and remains ongoing.
Nothing to report from other associations and all seems to be quite winter quiet.
I believe that there is a group that’s got together as ‘the repair shop’ trying to fix broken bits and restore stuff. Don’t know anything or who about it but you will be the first to know when I do.
