Club members enjoy a wide range of different sailing activities. At Manningtree beach at high water you will often see members launching dinghies and simply enjoying sailing up and down the river for a couple of hours. Many members enjoy exploring the rivers and estuaries of the East Coast in company as part of organised cruises, rowing, or adventuring alone.
We have a programme of races throughout the year contested by the dedicate fleet of Micro keelboats. There are also a number of races for dinghies and cruisers using handicaps, including the Manningtree Regatta which is open for both members and visitors to compete in.
The Club supports My Blue Pass, a local organisation that provides RYA accredited taster and training sessions from Manningtree beach from May to September, introducing young sailors to dinghy sailing and developing their skills in boat handling.
Across all of our activities there are lots of opportunities for newcomers to join in, get on the water, and have fun.
