GREAT NEWS!! The Manningtree Mermaids have made it to the final stage of the consultation for bathing water designation!! We need as many people as possible to complete the final survey now, We have worked very closely with them on this issue where they have taken it to parliament via our local MP sir Bernard Jenkins They have now asked me to now circulate through the club to accumulate some final support so can i urge you all to please visit the site and complete the survey for their support to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of our beautiful river running through our town https://consult.defra.gov.uk/water/consultation-on-designation-of-27-sites-as-bathing/

Only a small percentage of applications reach this stage but those that do almost always receive final approval. However, we need people to complete the consultation! It only takes a couple of minutes so the Manningtree Mermaids would be really grateful if our families and members could complete this short survey.
