Commodore’s Note
Once again it is with great sadness that I must advise you of the death of another member of the Club.
Judy Thorp sadly passed away on Thursday 27th September. Roger and Judy were very active members of the club enjoying many cruising trips with their friends, particularly Di and Gerry Brown. Our thoughts go out to Roger and their sons Andy and Nicky. There are notifications up in the clubhouse.
Sailing
The Club did extremely well in the Combined Clubs Series results this year with Ian Pavey (1st), Neil Manning (4th), Tony Power (9th), Robin Dutton (10th), Colin Garnham (16th) and Simon Garner (28th). Well done everyone – a great achievement! Full details are on the website.
Committee
Stef Goodwin our Events Co-Ordinator has decided not to stand for re-election in March. Stef has organised a great many very enjoyable and successful events and we are very sorry to see her leave the Committee. This will, therefore, be her last Gala Dinner for the club so, lets make it a good one!!

- Curry Cruise – 13th October (List is in Clubhouse)
- Cake and Coffee 17th October at 10.30 – all welcome
- Bangers and mash night will be 3rd November (List will be in the Clubhouse)
- Lift out – 7th, 8th and 9th November
- Laying Up Lunch and Sailing Prizegiving – 10th November
- Gala Dinner – 24th November – (List is in the Clubhouse)
